Waiting for Bill was painted about a dog waiting for his guy to come home and play ball with him. I took it a little further with the mail boxes, with the idea, that perhaps his guy was in the military. Actually I saw those mail boxes while we were on a cruise to Alaska. The stairs and mail boxes were in one of our ports. Couldn’t resist the image.
