Garden pot series
16 x 20 oil
I feed the quail just outside my studio window, and have never grown tired of watching their antics. The babies are particularly expressive. This is a painting that emphasizes brush strokes and a more contemporary look, particularly with the desert sun flowers. I love playing with all the various shapes and edges. I teased the viewers attention to the two babies in front of the pot, obviously enraptured with the strange new shape of a garden pot that they had discovered.
